Empowering young women in STEM through professional mentorship, Girls, Be YOU builds confidence and equity by challenging stereotypes and fostering a sense of belonging..
Financial Support
Girls, Be YOU reduces financial barriers for female STEM students in Canada by offering scholarships with partners, easing stress, promoting diversity, and creating mentorship and networking opportunities.
STEM Girls Drive
Girls, Be YOU organizes outreach initiatives such as the STEM Girls Drive, created in partnership with Regina Public Schools, to introduce young girls to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and inspiring speakers.
Advocacy on social media and partnerships
Girls, Be YOU champions women in STEM with campaigns, role models, and data insights, partnering to build community, drive policy, and amplify marginalised voices.
GBY Social Programs
Every summer, Girls, Be YOU brings our community together in person, with youth, young women, and professionals from STEM and beyond, connecting face to face and building the relationships that carry our mission forward.
